About Antalya Airport Terminal 2

Antalya Airport Terminal 2 is part of the modern international terminal complex, built to handle the rapidly increasing tourist traffic from Europe and Russia.

First Opening

Terminal 2 was opened in 2005.
It was specifically designed to serve international charter and scheduled flights, addressing the strong growth in tourism demand to the Antalya region.

Expansion

A major expansion project was completed and opened in April 2018.
This expansion included:

  • Enlargement of the existing international terminal,
  • Addition of 114,000 m² of new space,
  • Increasing the total terminal area to over 258,000 m².

Today, the original Terminal 2 (2005) and the 2018 expansion operate as a single, unified international terminal, allowing passengers to move seamlessly between sections.

Passenger Capacities

  • Initial Capacity (2005): Approx. 15 million passengers per year
  • Current Capacity (after 2018 expansion): 35 million passengers per year (International Terminal)
  • Total Airport Capacity: 40 million passengers per year
    (35 million international + 5 million domestic)
